A pre-tournament victory for Canada’s World Junior squad; Canada scored four times in the second period for a 6-1 win over Slovakia in its final pre-tournament game before the world junior championship.

Canada cruised past Slovakia in the 2020 IIHF World Junior Championship opening game. Othmann, Roy, and Guenther each scored twice for Canada as they won 6-1.

Canada’s Curtis Guenther scored twice in the third period to give Canada a 6-0 win over Slovakia on Sunday in preparation for next month’s IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship.
