Kyrgios wins big game against Tsitsipas and reaches Wimbledon fourth round

Australia’s Nick Kyrgios, ranked 40th in the world, qualified for the Wimbledon fourth round, the third Grand Slam of tennis, after beating Greece’s Stefanos Tsitsipas, the world’s fifth.

Kyrgios decided the clash against the fourth seed in the tournament by 6-7 (2-7), 6-4, 6-3, 7-6 (9-7) after the match exceeded 3 hours.

The pugnacious Australian takes on American Brandon Nakashima, the world number 56, and Colombian winner Daniel Gallan 6-4, 6-4, 6-1.

Australia’s Alex de Manwar, ranked 27th in the world, beat Britain’s Liam Brodie 6-3, 6-4, 7-5 to set up a date with Chilean Christian Garin, winner of American Jenson Brooksby 6-2, 6-3, 1-6, 6-4.

American world number 14 Taylor Fritz defeated Slovakia’s Alex Molchan 6-4, 6-1, 7-6 (7-3) to face Australian next round winner Jason Kobler over American Jack Sock 6-2, 4-6, 5-7, 7-6 (7-4) and 6-3.
