Man Utd signs Argentine Lisandro Martinez from Ajax; On Wednesday, Manchester United announced the signing of Argentine player Lisandro Martinez from Ajax Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on a contract extending until 2027, with the option of another year’s extension.
The 24-year-old international defender capped the Argentine team last summer with the Copa America Championship.

He was also twice in the Dutch league with Ajax.
Martinez said in remarks published by the Red Devils’ official website: “It is an honor to join this fantastic football club. I have worked hard to get to this moment, and now that I am here, I will pay myself more. ”
He added: “I’ve been lucky enough to be part of successful teams in my career, and that’s what I want to continue at Manchester United. There will be a lot of work to get to that moment, and I firmly believe that we can do that under this coach and with my new teammates.
He concluded by saying: “I want to thank Ajax and his fans for all the support they have given me. I’ve had an incredible time there, but I feel the time is right to test myself in another environment. Now I’m in the perfect club to do it. ”
