Washington Tennis Championships-Khachanov to the Next round; Karen Khachanov of Russia qualified for the final price round at the Washington Men’s Tennis Championship after beating Dominic Kupfer of Germany.

In the 32nd round of the tournament, Khachanov beat Kupfer by two sets, 6-7, 7-5, and 6-4, in a match that lasted two hours and 44 minutes.

Australia’s Nick Kyrgios had stepped up to the same role by beating home side Marcus Giron and the spots of two clean sets and 3-6 and 2-6.
