World Badminton Day 2022

July 5, 2022, was the inaugural World Badminton Day.

On Tuesday, July 5, 2022, the first World Badminton Day was celebrated. This day was chosen by the World Badminton Federation (BWF) on the occasion of its establishment 88 years ago, on July 5, 1934. In recognition of this important history of badminton history, the World Badminton Federation has proposed that its members bring together community members to celebrate the fun and comprehensive badminton experience, through a variety of attractive and innovative badminton activities. Fun activities were held around the world to celebrate the event. Although events vary in size, shape and place, the common theme of badminton celebration and promotion has been shared by many badminton fanatics.

On this special day, the finals of the 2022 Unix National Feather Senior Championship, the 2022 Unix U-11/Under-13/Under-15 National Badminton Championship and the 2022 Unix National Badminton Championship were held at Millennium Place in Sherwood Park, Alberta. The day was full of exciting performances and many athletes were crowned.
