Federer and Serena Williams out of the rankings

Swiss Roger Federer and American Serena Williams are both out of the rankings for professional players and professional players in batting ball, after losing their full points.

Federer has been sidelined since last year’s Wimbledon edition when he reached the quarter-finals, with a knee injury, he entered the rankings for the first time in 1997, which is true of Serena, the winner of 23 Grand Slam titles.

Serena’s return to action after a total absence of a year was also not complemented by her early first-round exit on the Wimbledon turf against the submerged French Armony Tan.

For 20 major titles, Federer is expected to return to action in September when he takes part in the Liver Cup competition.

The 40-year-old Federer said during his 100th anniversary of Wimbledon on July 3 that he did not “expect that it will take this period to return to action” and hoped to participate in Wimbledon “again.”
