Manchester City renews Riyad Mahrez contract until 2025

On Friday, Manchester City announced the renewal of its Algerian star Riyad Mahrez’s contract until 2025.
“Riyad Mahrez signed a new two-year contract with Manchester City,” a statement published by City said, noting that the new contract meant Mahrez (31 years) remained with the team until June 2025.

Mahrez joined City in 2018 from Leicester City and achieved remarkable success by scoring 63 goals and sending him 45 assists during the 1890s.

Mahrez said: “I am very happy to sign the new contract, I have enjoyed every minute of my time here.”

Mahrez was crowned City’s three-time Premier League, FA Cup and English League Cup and reached the Champions League final last year.
